The captain of the Manchester United football team, defender Harry Maguire, was involved in a clash and an exchange of beating with some Man City fans in a cabaret on the Greek island of Syros, where Maguire is spending a tourist vacation, and two other friends were involved in the clash. He spent two nights in prison, and will appear in Greek court tomorrow. Maguire beat the policemen, then it got worse when he wanted to bribe a Greek police officer to drop the case.

The British newspaper "The Sun" said that the problem began when some City fans, as soon as they saw a gangster entering the club, launched inflammatory shouts and songs to the player and Man United, and the two sides exchanged beating, before two police officers intervened to stop the fight.

Maguire attacked the policemen with two of his colleagues, asking them to stay away, and said, "This is none of your business." A witness to the incident said that Mughair resisted arrest and beat the policemen. He said that the order required the intervention of 5 Greek policemen to stop him and put him in prison. He was arrested with two of his friends, and at the police station on the island of Syros, Maguire and his two friends beat the police again, and after things calmed down, he tried to bribe an officer in order to drop the case, so a bribery case was opened against him.

It is expected that the court will decide on his fate with two other friends whose identities have not been revealed, as his lawyer said that he is confident that they will be released on bail, despite the two charges brought against Maguire.
