A famous Dutch coach coaches the Curaçao national team

Dutch football coach Guus Hiddink has taken over as coach of the national team on the island of Curaçao, located in the southern Caribbean. "It was difficult for me to refuse," Hiddink, 73, told the "Fox Sports" TV channel.

Hiddink, the former coach of the Netherlands, South Korea and Russia teams, as well as the Dutch teams Eindhoven and Chelsea, signed a contract that will last until the 2022 World Cup, and media reports have added that he will begin exercising the position as of next September.

Curaçao has never qualified for the World Cup, and is competing in the CONCACAF qualifiers (North, Central America and the Caribbean), and the first round of qualifying matches for the World Cup finals begins next October.
