During yesterday's doctor's visit, Peter Ljung received the go - ahead from the doctor to drive in tonight's match against the Pirates. This morning, the union's medical council also confirmed that Ljung is ready to go.

- The examination yesterday went well, I myself have talked to the doctor. He assured me that there are no doubts about Peter's status and gave him permission to compete, so he goes tonight, says Vetlanda's sports director Mikael Wirebrand to SVT Sport.

Ljung, who crashed hard in the premiere against Dackarna on August 11, has undergone a concussion after the concussion he suffered.

"The most important thing is that Peter is healthy"

- He has gotten through it in a great way. In addition to the brain ladder, the doctor said that they also looked so that there is no "toughness" in the brain and it was not strange. He is healthy and he drives a speedway, says Wirebrand.

Speedwaysverige held its breath when Ljung crashed and was thrown over the rim and was knocked unconscious after colliding with a lighting pole on the road. He was taken to hospital where he remained for 24 hours.

The sports manager is of course happy to have Ljung back in the team.

- The most important thing in this case has been that Peter will get well. It has also been important that the decision has not been ours or Peters' but that it is a doctor who has made the decision.

- But for the team, it is of course very important to get a leading star back, it is only positive, says Wirebrand.
