In the European Football Champions League, Bayern Munich beat Lyon to the finals after seven years.

Munich won 3-0 in the 2019-2020 UCL semi-final match against Lyon at José Al-Balad in Lisbon, Portugal, thanks to a multi-goal by Sergios Nabri in the first half and a key goal by Roberto Lewandowski in the second half.

This makes Munich the 11th in history, seven years since the 2012-2013 winning season, to the finals of the top European club competitions.

After winning the European Cup and Champions League five times (1973-1974, 1974-1975, 1975-1976, 2000-2001, and 2012-2013 seasons), Munich aims to recapture the top of Europe in seven years.

Munich fight against French power Paris Saint-Germain, who defeated Leipzig 3-0 in the semi-finals yesterday (19th), for the championship trophy at Lisbon's Estadio da Rus on the 24th.

Lyon, who took over Manchester City, who was nominated for the championship in the quarter-finals, and became the main character, stopped the blast in the semi-finals, not surpassing Munich's shouts.

Lyon was expected to confront Munich's'Spear', which exploded 8 goals against FC Barcelona in the quarterfinals, but at the beginning, Lyon's offensive was not easy.

In the fourth minute of the first half of the counterattack, Memphis Depai, who had a pass from the rear, broke through the right side of the penalty area and beat Manuel Neuer's goalkeeper with a right-footed shot, but hit the outside net.

In the 17th minute of the first half, Alfonso Davies's defense of Carl Toco Ecambi's shot that broke through the right flank wasn't completely handled, so Ecambi had another chance, but the left footed shot hit the post.

Munich broke through the crisis and woke up one minute later with Nabri's winning goal.

The left-footed shot by Nabri, who narrowed down from the right flank to the center, hit the penalty arc and went straight into the goal.

In the 33rd minute of the first half, Nabri opened the goal and Munich led the mood.

Ivan Perisic's low cross from the left side of the penalty area was blocked by the goalkeeper while Lewandowski tried to push Nabri to finish with his left foot.

Lyon couldn't attack easily in the 11th minute of the second half, with Dephi's cross and Marcelo's header caught by Neuer.

Lyon's Musa Dembele, the protagonist of multi-goal in the quarter-finals against Man City, was substituted for Defi in the 13th minute of the second half, but the trend did not change.

Munich, which had a stable lead, struck Lewandowski in the 43rd minute.

Lewandowski jumped between two of his opponents when Jozua Kimmich kicked a free kick from the right flank, scoring the perfect heading goal.

Excluding the final match of the group stage against Tottenham, where he did not play, Lewandowski, having tasted goals in all nine Champions League matches this season, spearheaded the score with a total of 15 goals.

He approached Cristiano Ronaldo's record of 17 goals in a single season in the Champions League with two goals.
