Matmut Atlantique may ring even more hollow than usual for the resumption of Ligue 1 this Friday (7 p.m.) on the occasion of Bordeaux-Nantes. The Ultramarines, the main group of supporters of the Girondins, have announced that they will not go to the stadium after "reflection".

Beyond the health context, they explain that a gauge of 5,000 spectators "is necessarily excluding". Even if the club had given priority to Virage Sud supporters, they refuse to go to Matmut Atlantique in solidarity with others who could not have access to the stadium: “We cannot resign ourselves to leaving supporters on the tile ".

The Loire Brigade will not make the trip either

For the rest, the Ultramarines affirm that they will not resume their collective activity "as long as the conditions for an acceptable return are not met". They call on their members to follow them in their approach while waiting for a health context and much better reception conditions for the public in the coming weeks.

Other groups of ultras had already made the same decision. First, the Loire Brigade, the main group of Nantes supporters, which will not make the trip to Gironde for this Atlantic derby.
