A memorandum of understanding between "Dubai Council" and "Dubai Ambulance" to preserve the safety of participants in sporting events
Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services signed a memorandum of understanding on joint cooperation between the two parties in the field of sporting events and athletes safety. The Memorandum of Understanding, which will last for 3 years and can be extended, was signed by the Secretary General of the Council Saeed Hareb, and the Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Khalifa Al Dray, in the presence of the Assistant Secretary-General of the Council, Nasser Aman Al Rahma, and the Acting Director of Ambulance Operations at (Dubai Ambulance) Meshaal Julfar, and a number of Managers and specialists of both institutions.
The signing took place at the headquarters of the Council, and the two parties announced the provision of all means to achieve the objectives of the memorandum, in order to be an important addition to the sporting events that are organized annually in Dubai, and to support efforts to preserve the safety of the participants in them, and to improve the quality of the organization and the happiness of the participants.
The memorandum is the culmination of an important bilateral cooperation between the two institutions, as the Council is the government agency responsible for the sports sector in the Emirate of Dubai, which seeks to develop the sports movement and create a comprehensive sports environment that responds to the needs of society, while (Dubai Ambulance) undertakes the tasks of providing innovative and world-leading ambulance services on The level of the Emirate of Dubai professionally and sustainably to ensure the health and safety of customers and the happiness of society through qualified human cadres within an environment that stimulates innovation.
The memorandum aims to: Activate the joint efforts between the two parties in the field of cooperation and partnership in the implementation of sporting events and events that will take care of the common interests between the two parties within the framework of achieving the general goal of establishing both parties, and ensuring the safety and health of participants in sporting events organized by the Dubai Council, by providing The best ambulance services needed in emergency cases by the institution, spreading health awareness and good practices for members of sports institutions and participants in sporting events under the supervision of the Council.
