Ajman inaugurates the comeback of matches by beating Sharjah

11 precautionary and sanitary measures approved in the friendly quadruple session

Yesterday, the four-way friendly tournament organized by Sharjah Club at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Al Hazana, launched the first local football matches in the "Coronavirus Time", where Sharjah lost in the first match from Ajman with a score of 1-2, and under 11 precautionary measures. It was approved in order to prevent the virus, and to preserve the safety of all participants in the tournament, which are the Sharjah, Ajman, Kalba and Khorfakkan clubs.

Luan Pereira scored for Sharjah in the 28th minute, while Walid Khaled scored for Ajman in the 63rd minute and Essam Fayez 76.

Badr Ahmed, a member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Company, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Tournament, confirmed to “Emirates Today” the adoption of strict procedures, in implementation of the protocol for the return of matches, which was issued by the Football Association in coordination with the Professional League and the competent authorities in the country. The procedures include before and during the matches, with the stadium being completely sterilized, the application of social distancing measures, and the obligation of everyone, whether they are players, technical, administrative and medical bodies, or representatives of the media, to examine Corona, and to oblige everyone, except the players, to wear masks and gloves, as well. On reducing the number of those present in the stadium to the maximum possible extent and holding the match without an audience, and from three rounds by 30 minutes per half, allowing the presence of one journalist, as well as only one photographer in the stadium from each media outlet, and obliging them to examine "Corona", and not allowing the presence of any A person in the stadium did not check "Corona" before the start of the match, in addition to holding only one match a day, instead of two matches, and access is restricted to members of the participating teams and holders of entry permits.

On the other hand, the match between Kalba and Khor Fakkan will take place at 6:30 pm today, as part of the two teams' preparation for the new season.

According to the tournament schedule, Friday and Saturday will be a rest, then next Sunday the Sharjah and Kalba match will take place, while Ajman will face Khor Fakkan on Monday.

The 11 health measures

1- Completely sterilizing the club and the match stadium.

2- Sterilization of all entrances leading to the entrance to Sharjah Club.

3- Apply social distancing measures.

4- Requiring all participants, including players, technical and administrative bodies, representatives of the media and workers, to examine Corona before the start of the match.

5- Require everyone, except the players, to wear masks and gloves.

6- Reducing the number of people on the field to the maximum possible extent.

7- Organizing the match without an audience.

8- Holding the match in three rounds, at a rate of 30 minutes for each half, instead of the regular time of two halves.

9- Allowing the presence of one journalist and photographer for each media outlet.

10- Holding only one match per day instead of two.

11- Entry is restricted to members of the participating teams only and holders of entry permits.
