Corona's injuries cause the opening of the French League to be postponed

The French Football League announced today that the opening match of the season, which was scheduled for Friday between Marseille and Saint-Etienne, has been postponed to mid-September, after confirming three new cases of the Corona virus in the ranks of Marseille.

The League said, in a press statement, that "the match will be held at the (Velodrome) stadium on September 16 or 17, depending on the development of health conditions inside the Marseille club."
