For the first time since 2010, when they won the Champions League (a year after Zlatan Ibrahimovic left the team), Inter are ready for a European final.

The semi-final against a weak Shakhtar Donetsk did not turn out to be a particularly exciting story. After 20 minutes, they took the lead through Lautaro Martinez. Shakhtar's goalkeeper completely failed with a pass, which Nicola Barella took instead. He drove out on the right wing and hit a post that Martinez nodded in.

The same Martinez then also nodded in 3-0 on the corner, which more or less became the nail in the coffin.

Martinez also played until Romelu Lukaku's 4-0 goal in the 78th minute. The goal was Lukaku's 32nd this season - and the tenth straight European match in which he scored. The Belgian then determined the final result five minutes later.

In the final, Inter will face Sevilla, who yesterday won 2-1 against Manchester United.
