Today, Monday, the Football Association's Match Protocol Supervisory Committee held a workshop to explain the protocol to clubs before the start of the 2020-2021 sports season, and the head and members of the committee overseeing the application of the protocol, represented by a doctor, participated in the workshop. Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Hashemi, Chairman of the Committee, and members of the Committee, Dr. Saeed Al-Thani, Mabhoot Al-Hajri, Muhammad Ali Sorour, and Secretary of the Sports Medicine Committee Muhammad Ahmad Al-Sayed to more than 150 persons from representatives of clubs, technical, medical and administrative teams working in the national teams.

This workshop comes within the framework of clarifying the processes for managing matches, the controls and the obligations that must be met by clubs in order for the process of holding any official or friendly match to take place in the country in a safe and smooth manner.

The Football Association said in a press statement, "The match protocol complements the medical protocol for returning to training that the Football Association circulated to clubs in the past period for the purpose of a gradual return to group exercises in a safe manner."

"We appreciate the work that the competent authorities are doing in a circle in controlling the epidemic," said Dr. Musafa Al-Sayed Al-Hasami. "We also thank the FIFA Board of Directors and the Professional League for their cooperation in making the committee's mission a success."

He added: "The committee explained all the medical and organizational terms of the match operations protocol, which mainly include (the mechanism for conducting checks, dividing the stadium, sterilizing the stadium, match day procedures, stadium facilities, media and television broadcasting affairs, instructions for internal and external camps and the residence, General principles for reopening service facilities.)
The process of implementing the protocol rests with everyone, and it is a societal responsibility that everyone must adhere to, and the great steps taken by the state and its gains during confronting the Coronavirus and limiting its spread must be preserved. 

The head of the committee explained, "The aim of the workshop is for everyone to accept the procedures as part of the" new normal ".

He continued, "The committee answered the inquiries of club representatives, and we also meet on a weekly basis to find out all the developments related to Corona virus, and we made inspection visits to many clubs to ensure the implementation of the training return protocol, and during the coming period the visits will be intensified to ensure the implementation of the protocol and work to find the necessary solutions for any Clubs may face obstacles. "
