It was a duel between Peder Fredricson and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson in the Swedish Championship final in jumping. Peder led the day, but only by a margin of 0.87 errors.

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Ermindo W started first of the two and did what he was supposed to with a flawless round. When Peder and Crusader Ice then had a boom down, the thing was done.

- The first Swedish Championship gold in a long career, but shame on those who give up, says Rolf-Göran Bengtsson to SVT Sport.

Malin Baryard-Johnsson and Indiana was one of the crews who handled today's round very best. With four errors, they climbed all the way up to the podium and took a bronze medal.

Several experienced riders had problems

There were many who had problems with today's final course. It took until Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, who started second last, before today's first - and only zero came.

- I thought the track was in the strongest team, horses and riders really got to work together today, he says.

There were several of the most experienced riders whose chances of a top position disappeared. Jens Fredricson and Douglas Lindelöw, who before the day were both in a crash, tore themselves away and Fredrik Jönsson had to add eight errors to his already eight errors.
