Al-Ahly of Egypt reaches my honor at the end of his mission with the team

The technical staff of the football first team of Al-Ahly club decided to end the mission of goalkeeper Sherif Ikrami and to thank him.

Al-Ahly of Egypt stated in a statement on its official website that the technical staff led by Swiss Rene Fyler, after consulting with Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football, decided to complete the season locally and in Africa with the players who participate in training and matches during the current period, in order to ensure the stability of the team that is facing difficult challenges.

The statement added: "In light of this, Abdel Hafeez informed Sherif Ekrami of the decision, in light of which my gratitude has become outside the accounts of the technical staff for the end of the season."

It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly club did not renew Sherif Ikrami's contract, which expires at the end of the current season, and thus his mission with the team ended.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face the Aswan team tomorrow, Monday, in the twentieth round of the Egyptian Football League.

Al-Ahly tops the league standings with 53 points, while Aswan ranks thirteenth with 19 points.
