"I drove way too fast and was also taken to the emergency room for a blood test. In addition, the police found a small amount of drugs in my home. It is cocaine ", writes Northug.
The news has provoked strong reactions in the ski world. Among other things with the Swedish star Frida Karlsson who is sponsored by Northug's company that manufactures ski goggles.
"What Petter did is not defensible in any way. It was dumb. Regarding our collaboration, it is too early to say anything though ", Karlsson writes in a text message to SVT Sport.
