During the quarter, only two Allsvenskan home matches were played with an audience average of zero. During the corresponding period last year, the average audience per match was 17,768 people at the home matches.

The operating profit for the second quarter, however, was a profit of 4.2 million, compared with a loss of 4.4 million a year earlier. Behind the positive earnings trend is a positive so-called net transfer of SEK 1.7 million. During the corresponding quarter last year, the net transfer net was minus 2.9 million.

Excluding non-recurring items, the result for the quarter was a loss of SEK 8.7 million, compared with a loss of SEK 800,000 a year earlier.

Just one point from qualifiers

"The non-recurring items consist of state support in the form of compensation for deferred match arrangements of SEK 8.0 million and compensation for short-term layoffs from the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth of SEK 3.3 million," writes AIK Football in the report.

For the first half of this year, AIK Football made a loss of SEK 16.2 million, which can be compared with the loss of SEK 3.7 million a year earlier.

It is also difficult for the Stockholm club in terms of sports, the team has not won in five rounds and is only one point from a negative qualifier.

Tonight, Östersund is waiting at home.
