Djokovic resolves controversy in his participation in the first major tennis tournament in "Corona Time"
Serbian Novak Djikovic, the world number one in tennis, confirmed today his participation in the US Open, decisive the controversy over his presence in the first major tournament after the resumption of competitions following a forced suspension due to the emerging Corona virus.
"I am happy to confirm my participation in the Cincinnati and US Open championships this year," the Serbian wrote on Twitter. "It was not an easy decision with all the obstacles and challenges on many sides, but the possibility of returning to competition makes me excited," he said. The championship will start in New York on January 31 without fans.
