Two players in KF Drita have tested positive for covid-19. After that, the whole team has been quarantined by the local authorities, reports the news agency AP.

On Tuesday, the team would have met the Northern Irish champions Linfield in the first qualifying round of the Champions League. But on Thursday night, for the first time during the corona pandemic, Uefa decided to exclude a team.

"KF Drita is now judged to lose the match by 0-3," Uefa writes on its website.

Thus, Linfield now goes on to the next qualifying round, where they will face Polish Legia Warsaw.
