On August 23, the Diamond League will be held in Stockholm during the Bauhaus Gala. A star-studded competition with Daniel Ståhl, Armand Duplantis and Khaddi Sagnia, but at 800 meters, viewers are invited to a competition in absolute world class, both among the ladies and men.

On the women's side, reigning world champion Halima Nakaayi comes from Uganda and World Cup runner-up Raevyn Rogers. In the same competition, the British Jemma Reekie will also compete, which this year is the second fastest in the distance.

Even among the men, there will be a world champion in the 800 meters in Stockholm. Donovan Brazier (USA) and Amel Tuka and Ferguson Rotich who were silver and bronze medalists respectively at the World Cup in Doha. The American Brazier has the world year best with 1.43.84.

In the men's class, the Swedish jumper Andreas Kramer will also have to go up against the absolute world elite.

- It is fantastic that during these times we manage to put together such a strong and global starting field at this distance, says Jan Kowalski, competition leader.
