When Adrian "Pike" Granat 2018 retired after 17 matches had won 15 - of which 14 by knockout.

After that message, the 29-year-old heavyweight has received many offers to return to the sport, he told SVT Sport last year - when, however, he assured that he was not eager to do so.

- I have refused everything. There is no chance. Zero percent. Once upon a time, I loved this sport, but I do not want to risk my health if I am not passionate about it. And I have simply lost the desire, he said then.

Contract with promoter

But now he has come up with other ideas. He is going to make a comeback. In a press release, quoted by several different media, he says that he signed a contract with a promoter over two matches, the first of which will take place in Istanbul in October.

- In recent months, I have stepped up the training considerably. The weight is 107 kg of muscle and I feel stronger than ever. I am definitely not done with boxing and have a lot more to give. I am a born warrior and I long to go up in the ring again, he says, and explains how the craving has returned:

- A few months ago, I was persuaded to go a few rounds of sparring. Something deep inside me lit up again. I've been boxing all my life, I have it in my blood.
