During yesterday's competitions at Sollentuna GP, Ståhl got a throw of 71.37. His second longest in his career and world year's best.

The very next day, Ståhl competed tonight in Turku, Finland and managed to land the discus at 70.20 in the penultimate throw. Third throw this season over 70 meters.

Before that, Ståhl had a throw of 69.23. His only two approved throws thus became world-class.

Daniel Ståhl has a special connection to Turku, as his mother grew up there.

Simon Pettersson threw 63.13 in the last attempt and finished fifth.
