The Egyptian League match was postponed due to Corona

The Egyptian Football Association decided to postpone the match between Al-Masry and Haras Al-Hodoud, which was scheduled for Monday in the eighteenth stage of the league competition, after 12 cases were confirmed positive in the new Corona virus tests.

The official account of the federation via the "Facebook" website stated that 12 players in the ranks of Al-Masry had positive samples for Corona virus tests, so that the Federation made its decision to postpone the match.

In its statement, Al-Ittihad added that swabs were carried out on Al-Masry players, in addition to a number of young players, in an attempt to catch up with the border guard match.

He added that the medical committee of the Football Association approved the results and sent them to the five-year committee in charge of managing the affairs of the federation, as the committee directed the need to postpone the match due to lack of time, provided that a new date is set for it.

Al-Masry played against Zamalek last Thursday, in a postponed match from the fourteenth stage of the competition, where he lost 0/1.

Al-Masry occupies tenth place with 20 points, while the Border Guard ranks twelfth with 19 points.
