Malmö FF will always face Cracovia Krakow from Poland. Krakowlaget, founded in 1906, is Poland's oldest football club. The club has won the Polish league five times, most recently in 1948. The team is the home club for Örebro's great player Miroslaw Kubisztal and came fifth in the league last season.

Hammarby's opponent, Hungarian Puskás Ferenc Labdarugó Akadémia, was founded in 2005 in memory of the legendary Ferenc Puskas. The home arena Pancho Arena takes 3,816 seats. Best place was 3rd in the league last year and cup final 2018.

The two individual meetings will be played on 27 August.

Both Swedish teams were seeded in this round. If the team goes on, Malmö FF will remain seeded even in the second qualifying round, while Hammarby will be unseeded.
