The manager of the Ajman soccer team, Mohamed Hussein, revealed that the club's management is about to withdraw from completing its previous agreement with the Brazilian Vander Vieira to renew his contract, due to the player’s frequent delay in returning to the country from Brazil, and engaging in the current preparations in preparation for the new season.

The previous agreement provided for a one-season extension of Vieira's contract, to be the third foreigner in the new season's list. "We contacted Vieira several times to find out the date of his arrival, and to participate in training, and every time we got from him a promise to attend without committing to that," Mohammed Hussein told Emirates Today.

The Ajman team manager denied that the club had knowledge of the reasons that led the player to postpone his return throughout the last period.

He explained: "We do not know the reason. Although he was happy when we told him that the football company and the technical staff agreed to extend his contract, he did not inform us of anything that might cause his return to be delayed, although all the Brazilian players who play in the rest of the other clubs have arrived some time ago."

Regarding the alternatives proposed to compensate him, Muhammad Hussein said that the club's management will search for suitable alternatives, with a high degree of competence to serve the team and increase its strength in the new season. Vieira, 31, joined Ajman from Sharjah in a free transfer deal at the beginning of the 2018/2019 season, with a contract for two seasons, and fought with Ajman 42 league matches over two seasons, during which he scored 13 goals. On the other hand, the Ajman team organized yesterday in a closed camp in Jebel Ali that will continue until next Thursday, within the framework of the preparations currently underway for the start of the new season, which will start on the third of next September. Muhammad Hussain stressed that the aim of the camp is to improve its fitness levels, despite the difficulties of the weather and the high humidity. He explained: "The coach, Ayman al-Ramadi, may sometimes be forced to reduce the time of the actual period of time allocated to training because the players drink juice and water to cope with the high temperatures, and the team also exercises in some periods at 6:30 in the morning before the sun gets too hot or the humidity increases." . The manager of the Ajman team praised "the complete commitment of the players despite the circumstances that they are not used to at this time of the year for training, as we used to travel to Europe to set up an external camp during August, but things changed, and I think that the technical staff and the players dealt with it in the best possible way."
