Andrea Pirlo is back in top football. The 41-year-old left Juventus in 2015 and retired his playing career in 2017. Now the Italian legend has finished as coach of the Italian league champions.

The news comes after his representative Maurizio Sarri had to leave after a bald exit from the Champions League yesterday. Andrea Pirlo was presented at the end of July as the new U23 coach at Juventus, but there will be no matches on the bench there for the former midfielder who immediately takes the step up the A-team bench.
