The Emirates Center for Sports Arbitration has approved the designation of Dirar Hamid Belhoul, Vice President of the Center, while continuing to carry out the work of the Acting Supervisor of the Executive Work Sector, until the organizational structure is approved and an executive director and his assistant team are appointed to carry out the tasks. This came during the regular meeting of the Center, which was held at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee headed by Ali Bujisim, in the presence of Dirar Belhoul, Saeed Abdul Ghaffar, Youssef Abdullah Al-Batran, and external experts: Hamda Al Shamsi, Saeed Al-Ajel, Ahmed Al Dhaheri, in addition to the Executive Director of the Olympic Committee, Muhammad bin Darwish.

The meeting discussed the articles of the statute, and agreed to present it in its final form to a team of jurists to express the final opinion on it, before submitting it to the Ministry of Justice for final approval. Members were briefed on the first draft of the procedural rules and the definitions and general provisions they contain. In another context, Dirar Belhoul, Youssef Al-Batran and Saeed Al-Ajiel were assigned to supervise the development of a general strategy for the center, with whomever they deem appropriate from experts in this field.
