  In the midsummer, nearly a hundred ski jumpers and Nordic two athletes trained intensively in Jilin City's Four Seasons Platform Jump. They came from Jilin, Heilongjiang and other places.

  Li Lianbin, a ski jumping instructor of the Jilin Winter Sports Management Center, said that the Four Seasons Platform has improved the training environment for athletes. Previously, they had to go to Eastern Europe and other countries to train, and the time cost was high. With the Four Seasons Platform, the number and quality of athletes' training has been significantly improved.

  It is understood that in order to better undertake international platform jumping events and provide training guarantee for platform jumping athletes, Jilin Province launched the K90 and K50 platform modification and installation project of the Beida Lake National Team Snow Project Training Base in early 2019. The platform is equipped with two imported slide assists, protective baffles, imported turf, night lights and other systems, which provide effective guarantee for athletes' training.

  Sui Yan, head of the Beidahu Snow Comprehensive Training Center in Jilin City, said, “Four Seasons Platform has rewritten the history that platform diving can only be trained in winter and daytime, and has realized the seamless connection of all-weather training for athletes in all seasons.”

  Jilin is a major snow and ice sports province in China. It is located in the 42-43 degree north latitude ice and snow golden latitude zone with the Alps and Rocky Mountains. It is one of the world's three largest powder snow bases.

  In preparation for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, the Jilin City Beishan Four Seasons Cross-Country Ski Resort National Snow Project Training Base was inaugurated at the end of 2019 to provide Chinese national training teams with all-weather training venues.

  It is reported that the K90 and K50 four-season platform are also important venues for the preparation and training of the Jilin Provincial Sports Team and the National Team. To welcome the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, athletes insist on training in the midsummer. (Finish)
