Before today's Swedish Championship competition in Ljungby, four women had managed to take over 6,000 points in a sick fight. Bianca Salming, 21, finished fifth.
She collected 6042 points.
- My goal has always been to take me over 6000, it has been my goal for almost three years. It has felt like I can do it almost anytime, but there is so much that must be true in these seven branches and in a whole all-around game. In the end, it worked, she tells Radiosporten.
It is also a personal record for Salming, who now sees himself as "a real all-rounder".
- For me, it's not good enough. I want to get to 6400, 6500 to feel that I am in the elite. But still over 6000 I think you can qualify me as a real all-rounder, she says and continues:
