Nico Hülkenberg got a chance to make a comeback in Formula 1 when Racing Point driver Sergio Perez tested positive for covid-19.
When the cars were about to roll out of the garage, however, a fault was discovered with the car. The mechanics quickly started work to get the car ready - but when the start went it was clear that there would be no competition for the German.
- Cracked, completely cracked. Hülkenberg will not start after problems with the car were discovered on the way out to the start, Racing Point writes on social media.
Perez will also miss next week's race at Silverstone, so far it has not been confirmed who will replace, but then Hülkenberg can get another chance.
