Already yesterday, Sportbladet was able to reveal that Kif Örebro strengthened the squad, but today the club itself announced that the deal is complete.

Agnew comes most recently from games in the American league NWSL and North Carolina Courage. She will be brought in on loan and will play with Örebro for the rest of the season.

- It feels fantastic to sign for Kif Örebro and be a part of their journey for the rest of this season. This will be the first time I play in Europe, which is fun, she says to the team's website.

Sports director Jonas Karlberg says that it has been important to gain experience in the young squad.

- Even though Lindsay is only 25 years old, she has experience from one of the world's best leagues as well as national team experience in Canada and from last year's World Cup championship. In short, this is a two-way player with a high top level who will contribute both offensively and defensively, he says.

Lindsey Agnew joins the club today but will not be ready to play in the match against Vittsjö tomorrow.
