The head of the Egyptian club Zamalek, the chancellor, Mortada Mansour, affirmed that he still has a working membership in Al-Ahly Club, which gives him the right to run for the presidency of the Red Club, becoming the first club president.
"I trust that the members of the general assembly in Al-Ahly club love me, and if I run for the elections, I may win," Mortada Mansour said in media statements after the General Assembly meeting at Zamalek yesterday.
Zamalek club president added: "The club won 30 championships, including 11 football tournaments, during the period in which I assumed the presidency of the club and tied with Al Ahly tournaments, in the past they were getting 11 championships and Zamalek gets one championship, and it tied with them while it outperformed Mahmoud Khatib, who won only three tournaments, while I collected five tournaments. "
