Brazilian Maicon Pereira announced today, Sunday, his return to his former club, Galatasaray, after the end of his loan with the Saudi Al-Nasr team, and the two clubs failed to reach an agreement.

The Saudi sports newspaper Al-Riyadiah published what Maicon wrote on his official account on the Instagram website: “After spending a wonderful year and a half with victory, I would like to thank all the team members, including players, coaches, and a board of directors, as well as the fans of the club.”

Maikon's contract with Al-Nasr ended at the end of last June, to return again to the Turkish team Galatasaray with whom he is linked with an official contract until the end of next season.

Al-Nasr is second in the league table of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Cup (Saudi Professional League), six points behind leaders Al Hilal.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi League will resume its activity next month, after stopping for a period of about five months due to the implications of the emerging Corona virus.
