Dubai Sports Council held a coordination meeting today to establish mandatory rules and guidelines for users of bicycle tracks in Dubai in order to achieve the required safety standards during training, in cooperation with government institutions in Dubai.

The meeting was chaired by Saeed Hareb, Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council, in the presence of Mohammed Abdullah Al-Qaidi and Youssef Muhammad Al-Shamsi from the General Command of Dubai Police, Hamad Al-Qaisi and Ahmed Al-Khuzami from the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, and Dr. Naseem Muhammad Rafi` and Muhammad Al-Dhanhani from Dubai Municipality, Meshal Julphar from Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation, and Muhammad Khayyat from Meydan Group.

During the meeting, the model cooperation between institutions and government departments was organized to regulate the foundations of using the nails in Dubai, among the most important are the Al-Warqa, Nad Al Sheba, Al Khawaneej and Mushrif Park, and Al Qudra. The meeting focused on Nad Al Sheba Cycling Track.

A number of mandatory conditions have been approved that the wearers must adhere to before exercising on the track, the most important of which is wearing a protective helmet and a reflective jacket, not using bilateral headphones while driving a bicycle, not using intermittent lighting and using a fixed addition, using the right side of the road in all circumstances And make sure that the road is empty with a hand signal when changing the lane, adhere to the general safety conditions while driving a bike and do not do any dangerous things, always walk towards the traffic and not vice versa while adhering to the specified bike lane, adhere to the instructions in the guidance signs that are installed on the road and in the Bicycling trail, do not use the phone or photograph while driving a bicycle.
