The NBA has detailed this Friday what will be the broadcasts of the "new" basketball with games behind closed doors, in which it has introduced digital novelties in search of a more connected and immersive experience for fans.

In this way, each game will invite more than 300 NBA fans to appear live on the video boards of more than five meters high that surround the court. These fans will have the opportunity to digitally interact with each other throughout the match.

As for the broadcast, more than 30 cameras , many of them robotic, will be repositioned closer to the court and will show camera angles never seen before in places that would not otherwise be accessible to fans in the pavilion, as detailed by the NBA in a statement. Microphones around the court will capture enhanced sounds from the ground, including the 'screeching' of sneakers and ball bounces.

In addition, all viewers will have the ability to create the visual effects through a virtual animation experience that will be reflected on the video boards. NBA Digital will also provide custom viewing options, and fans will have access to new camera angles, improved graphics, and broadcast options.

"We are excited to introduce a number of enhancements that will bring basketball fans closer together and allow them to personalize their visual experience. Our goal is to create a pleasant and immersive experience where fans can interact with each other and maintain a sense of community as we reboot the season in these unique and challenging circumstances, "said Next Gen Telecast director Sara Zuckert .
