Expectations were high for the Stockholm Act ahead of this year's edition of the Allsvenskan, which started in June due to the corona crisis.

AIK wanted to become Sweden's Atalanta, Djurgården was the reigning champion and Hammarby intended to build on its flowing speed football.

All teams won 2-0 in the first round, but since then it has gone much worse.

Ten rounds into the series are AIK ten, Djurgården six and Hammarby eleven, while IFK Norrköping tops the table.

Bad start

The Stockholm Act's result is even the worst in 18 years. Not since 2002 have they started as weakly as this year, according to statistics firm Gracenote.

That time AIK was ninth, Djurgården sixth and Hammarby second last after ten rounds. Djurgården, however, pulled up and took gold.

It is noteworthy that "Bajen" played in the Superettan between 2010 and 2014, while AIK was down and turned in 2005.

This weekend, AIK will face Djurgården while Hammarby, who lost to Malmö FF 3-0 yesterday, will take on Örebro on Monday.
