On the 24th, the International Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and the International Professional Tennis Federation (ATP) issued a statement that affected by the epidemic, various WTA and ATP events scheduled to be held in mainland China this year will No longer held. The cancelled events include China Open, WTA Finals and ATP Shanghai Masters.

  In the statement, WTA and ATP said that due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the State Sports General Administration of China has recently decided that in principle, China will not host any more international events in 2020. Therefore, the tennis tournament originally scheduled to be held in mainland China this year was cancelled.
