Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, 54, is ready for a comeback. He will meet 51-year-old Roy Jones Jr. in September.

"It will be fantastic," Tyson said in a statement.

The old boxer has hinted at a comeback since May and it has been speculated whether it would be against rival Evander Holyfield.

It is now clear that it will be against Roy Jones Jr, who had the world champion belt in four different weight classes (middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight).

The fight, which is a showdown, will be decided on September 12 in Los Angeles.
