After six championships with jumping on normal slopes, women from the WC in Oberstdorf next year will now compete on a large slope.

The proposal originally comes from the Norwegian national team and Fis follows their line. The Swedish jumper Astrid Norstedt, who last winter became historic as the first Swede to take World Cup points, told in an interview with SVT a few weeks ago that she dreamed of competing on major slopes.

- I love big hill, I think it's much more fun. And I get a completely different calm when I jump it, she said then.
