JBC = Japan Boxing Commission, an organization that controls professional boxing, announced that two amateur athletes practicing at gyms in Osaka Prefecture were newly infected with the new coronavirus. At the gym where two people were practicing, there were a lot of infections, which brought the total to 11 people.
According to the JBC, the infection was found to be two amateur athletes in their twenties, and the PCR test revealed "positive" by the 22nd day.
The two had been practicing at the same professional boxing gym in Osaka prefecture where 9 athletes including professional athletes had been infected.

In response to the spread of infection, JBC and the Japan Professional Boxing Association will practice about 280 gyms nationwide that professional athletes practice in gyms other than their own and amateur athletes practice in professional gyms.
