German international soccer player Leroy Sani is preparing for his first training with his new Bayern Munich team, as it seems filled with tremendous expectations, without creating much pressure on himself.

Sani has been in individual training since joining Bayern from Manchester City, where the entire team was on vacation before starting preparations to resume his career in the Champions League which will resume in August.

Sani (24 years) could stay in Manchester City until he completed his career with the team in the Champions League, especially as he could not participate with Bayern for the remainder of the championship, which resumes its activity next month after a period of pauses for several months due to the crisis of the outbreak of the emerging "Corona" virus.

However, the player said in an interview published by the German newspaper "magazine Bild" on Wednesday that he chose to join Bayern as early as possible to adapt quickly to the new atmosphere in which he will play.

Sani said: "I want to reach (to my fitness) and find a place to stay and prepare for the new season of my football career and then I will go."

Sani realizes that he is following in the footsteps of the prominent French players Frank Ribery and Dutchman Aryen Ribery for former Bayern players, and that he will wear the No. 10 Bayern shirt that has been worn by prominent players in the past such as Robin, as well as Olli Hoeness, who has held the position of manager and president of Bayern for many years.

Sani said: "I know what I can do, and I have my goals. But I am not putting a burden on myself by saying that I want to become a great player like Robin and Ribery."

He added: "No. 10 has a great history in Bayern. I am well aware of the responsibility of the player wearing this shirt."

Sani believes that the Bayern team can achieve many accomplishments.

He said: "The players are ready to focus and have great goals with the club. I definitely see a realistic opportunity to win the Champions League with Bayern."
