The Chairman of the Medical Committee of the Egyptian Football Association, Dr. Mohamed Sultan, confirmed that periodic follow-ups revealed to the league teams after returning to training revealed 18 positive cases of Corona virus in the Military Production Team, after the team's camp ended in Sharm El-Sheikh.

The Minister of Sports announced the League Championship and it was agreed on next August 6 to return the matches again after a hiatus of more than 5 months due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.

Muhammad Sultan said, in press statements, that the 18 cases that appeared in the war production team will be subject to house isolation for 14 days, subject to a new smear after 10 days, after the approved treatment of the Corona virus.

Sultan also directed the players of the Egyptian and Vanguard teams to isolate themselves during the camp of their teams, which is currently taking place in one of the Burj Al Arab hotels, and to start training normally.

The head of the medical committee confirmed that there are 6 clubs in the league that have not shown any infections with the Corona virus in the past days, because they implement the precautionary measures very strictly.
