Eskilstuna has been something of a nightmare resistance for Linköping. The latest win came in 2018 and before today's match they had three straight losses. That trend is now broken after today's 1-0 victory at Linköping Arena.

The only goal of the match was scored by the Norwegian Frida Manum. The 21-year-old intercepted a loose ball in the penalty area and then from a standstill snorted the ball into the far cross, completely unreachable for Cosette Morché in the United goal.

Defense giant Nilla Fischer was back in the starting eleven and then the East Goths could once again keep a clean sheet. After the win, Linköping takes the lead in the series, one point ahead of Rosengård, who also won today. Tomorrow Gothenburg plays against Djurgården and can then go up on the same points.
