After a strange season but lending to the 2. Bundesliga and corona break, John Guidetti is back in Stockholm. The striker is in hard training for next season when SVT Sport gets the chance to meet him at Östermalm's IP.

"Grateful and proud"

At the age of 20, Guidetti scored 20 goals for Feyernoord and for many, the world seemed to lie at his red-hot feet. But after a tricky nerve injury, the striker did not play A-team football in just over three years. Despite a potential that was never really fulfilled, John Guidetti is satisfied with his situation.

- There is a lot around that has affected, the injury has come at the wrong time and so on. But if I am grateful and proud of what I have accomplished? 100%, says John Guidetti to SVT Sport.

Would not swap with Neymar

Another striker born in 1992 is Neymar. The Brazilian is a big star in the national team and in Paris Saint Germain, has among the highest salaries in sports and is generally seen as one of the world's best players. Despite all this, John Guidetti is never going to change places with the brass star.

- Neymar is 92nd just like me, plays in PSG. I would never change my life with Neymar. I have the best friends, the best family, the best life. I love my life, I would not want to exchange it for anyone, says Guidetti to SVT Sport.
