A person surrendered to the police in the French city of Toulouse and admitted killing yesterday Toulouse Rodeo player Christopher Oriet, brother of Serge Tottenham defender and Ivory Coast football team, yesterday, according to sources close to the Public Prosecution.
A police source explained that the person who was placed under arrest surrendered to the central police station in Toulouse, and admitted standing behind the killing of Christopher (26 years).
The latter spent a shot dead at dawn last Monday in an industrial area on the outskirts of the city in the south of the country. Medics found him with a gunshot wound to his stomach and he was transferred to the University Medical Hospital in Toulouse, where he died.
The regional newspaper, "La Debeche", indicated that eyewitnesses touched upon a "romantic row" that could be the cause of this fatal attack.
And Christopher is the younger brother of Serge, the current defender of Tottenham and former for Paris Saint-Germain.
The two brothers started their football career with French club Lens, and Serge managed to shine at the highest levels, while Christopher failed in that and his football experience with the club Toulouse Rodeo was limited to amateurs.
