This weekend, Amir Azrafshan was presented as the new head coach of Östersunds FK.
The debut as head coach in the Allsvenskan would have come against Malmö FF on Thursday, but now it is clear that this will not be the case.

Azrafshan, who most recently comes from the division four team Djursholm, does not have the Uefa Pro license required to be the head coach in the Allsvenskan and instead ÖFK has presented a solution which means that Pero Kapcevic, who has been assistant coach so far, will now be the head coach on paper. .

"Must keep track"

The chairman of the coaches' association is skeptical that the situation has arisen.

- That you do not know the rules. It's like a player who is not ready to play, then you do not play him. You can not have an unlicensed player. That responsibility must lie with the club, this must be kept in mind, says Lundin to Fotbolldirekt.

The main character himself sees no strangeness with the solution ÖFK presented.

- We'll build a family here. When you do it together, you make sure that people get to do what they are good at. Even if I have the pro license or not, Pero will be able to express his strength. And I will press what I am good at as well, says Amir Azrafshan to Östersundsposten.

Furthermore, ÖFK writes on its website that Azrafshan will take over as head coach as soon as he has started Prolence training.

A solution that means that ÖFK does not risk any sanction, says Kjell Sahlström, license manager at SvFF.

- As I understand it, ÖFK now has a head coach who has a pro license, so then everyone is happy. Then it is obvious that we follow up so that it is not just a name on the paper. This applies not only to ÖFK but to all clubs, says Sahlström to SVT Sport.
