The world set Ståhl was a step ahead of the world sex Pettersson, as it looked this season, where Ståhl was only over 70 meters once, Pettersson threw 66.76.

The competition result was Ståhl's second best this year after throwing 70.25 at the World Year in Helsingborg three weeks ago. But Ståhl is far from satisfied.

"Technically bad"

- Yes, but I'm on a completely different level, so I'll throw a lot longer than this. It's definitely not bad, yes, even okay. But I'll throw more at the competition, says Daniel Ståhl to Aftonbladet.

- It's still technically bad, I'm still taking in too much, but I was physically strong today. But I know so much better.

Roos also won

In the ball, Fanny Roos hit 18.50, a good result, just over half a meter from her own Swedish record from last year.

The competition was conducted under simple conditions with lengths measured with tape measure and handwritten results.
