Important points were at stake at the Falcon Alcohol-free Arena today when Falkenberg, in qualifying, received a visit from the second-round Östersund. One point separated the team from the table.

The first half became speechless even though both teams created a couple of dangerous chances. The goal kick burst into the 59th minute when the away team offered a corner kick.

Rewan Amin hit a short corner, got the ball back and found an unmarked Jordan Attah Kadiri who, with a well-directed header, put 1-0. Kadiri celebrated the goal with coach Ian Burchnall, while Amir Azrafshan - who is said to be taking over ÖFK - sat on the stands.

Falkenberg chased a receipt and moved up pretty much everything they had, but Östersund held off and took three lead-heavy points in the all-Swedish bottom battle. ÖFK now climbs from 15th to 12th place, past Falkenberg, Örebro and Kalmar.
