The English Premier League Football Association admitted that three controversial decisions made through the Video Assistant Referee System (VAR) yesterday were not valid during the 34th stage of the League.

Among those decisions, the association revealed to the BBC, including the decision on a penalty kick from which Bruno Fernandez scored the goal for Manchester United in the match that ended with the team's 3-0 victory over Aston Villa. The association stated that Aston Villa defender Izri Konza was supposed to have been charged for a foul after Fernandez interfered with him.

The association stated: "It was a wrong decision. It was supposed to change the decision via FAR, but this did not happen, and it was actually assumed that an error was calculated in favor of Konsa." Aston Villa coach Dean Smith said after the match that the decision was "shameful".

The Spurs match against Bournemouth ended in a goalless draw, but the association also announced that Harry Kane was worth a penalty, after he was pushed into the penalty area. Tottenham coach Jose Mourinho expressed his dissatisfaction with the matter, and he appeared angry and protesting against the arbitration, and said: "The whole world knows that a penalty was supposed to be counted."

And on the match that ended in a draw between Everton and Southampton 1/1, the League stated that a penalty was not supposed to be counted in favor of Southampton, from which James Ward-Brouse missed the opportunity to score. Although the opportunity to score was missed from the penalty kick, Everton coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed his dissatisfaction with the decision to count it, and said in a press statement: "The performance of the referee was like the performance of my team, as it was not good."
