The Egyptian Football Association decided to amend the date of the resumption of the domestic league competition for the 2019/2020 season to be August 6, instead of the seventh of the same month. He said in a press statement that this came in coordination with the security authorities in accordance with its commitment to secure the elections for the Senate, which necessitated the early establishment of the matches that were scheduled to be held on the elections of 11 and 12 August.
The Egyptian Football Association said on its page on the social networking site "Facebook": "It is scheduled to announce the schedule of matches as soon as the required security clearances are received."
Eng. Hussam Al-Zanati, director of Egyptian Football Association competitions, said that the competition will resume with one of the postponed matches, as scheduled.
