It was a few days ago that Gilbert "Durinho" Burns, tested positive for the corona virus and the main fight on "Fight Island" had to be deleted. But thanks to the fact that there is now a replacement for the sick MMA fighter, the event can be conducted. This is what ESPN states.
Instead of Burns, 35-year-old Jorge Masvidal now steps into his place. Among other things, the replacement has become known for the fastest knockout of the times.
The match is the main part of the "Fight Island" gala, which contains four events in 14 days. A total of three Swedes participate, including Alexander "The Mauler" Gustafsson comeback on July 25.
"I feel stronger and hungrier than ever," Alexander Gustafsson told SVT Sport in June.
