The Egyptian Handball Federation announced the resumption of the professional league competition during the current season and reversed the decision to cancel the competition.
The Handball Federation said in an official statement today, Sunday: "In light of the vision of the political leadership, the decisions of the Egyptian government, the meeting of the Higher Committee for Crises in the Council of Ministers and the announcement of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to agree to the return of sports activity to reduce the economic effects resulting from the cessation of activity and encourage sports because of its positive effects On public health, the Egyptian Handball Federation decided to complete the federation's competitions starting from August of this year with taking all necessary precautions to return to the return of sports activity. "
The statement added that the month of August will witness the resumption of the competitions of the All-Women and Junior League, born in 2000 and 2002, and the completion of the first-class boarding matches.
The statement stressed: "With regard to the Professional League, the date for the completion of its matches will be decided during September of this year, with the completion of the initial preparation period for the first national team players, in preparation for the World Championship in January 2021, before starting the completion of the professional competition and the return of the players to participate in The matches of their clubs, with the Federation affirming their commitment to the medical and precautionary measures that must be followed.
