Already last summer, Charlotte Kalla and her coaching team began work on finding the riding position that will give her the highest possible speed but also the lowest possible energy loss. This year the work has been stepped up and almost every workout on roller skis is filmed and analyzed in the smallest detail.

- We sit down after the workout at lunchtime and watch the movies. It's really inspiring, ”Charlotte Kalla told the NSD.

Kalla has video specialist Lars Ljung, who lives a stone's throw from the 32-year-old in Sundsvall. During the video analyzes, the focus is on finding the right angle of travel on the body as well as the right angle in the pole, at which angle the pole is to be taken and when in time it should be taken.

Through the analyzes, they can also see what details she needs to improve in strength and movement in order to get to the perfect riding position and the perfect pole.

- We identify side differences on the ride but also what I need to do inside the gym and what I need to work on in mobility, she says.

- You can't just think about changing angles. Sometimes it is purely muscular and coupling I have to wear and create the right conditions.

The aim is to be as good as possible at the World Cup in Oberstdorf, which takes place in the month of February / March.
